Isabel Rosado

Isabel Rosado explores the determinants and possibilities of photographies of models in miniature and cardboard as a fundamental element. The concepts of time, space, light, fiction and narration are constant in her work.

The artist recreates places taking different sources of inspiration: TV shows, films, places described on books, works of other artists or real places she visits.

She takes the pictures paying special attention to point of view and illumination, so the spectator enters into the image. However, they are eerie pictures, because when we pay attention to the details we can see that it is a setup. Once the model is registered by the camera, it is destroyed and the materials are recycled.
